My Life's Journey
Yvonne Dalorto is a British teacher who has worked in a variety of roles in the U.K. such as Special Educational Needs (S.E.N.), Early Years Development, Primary education and the Coordinator of a play facility for children. In 2004, Yvonne moved to the South of Spain teaching in the bilingual teaching environment, with an emphasis on English as a Second Language (E.S.L), literacy and finally, a Headteacher at a British Council accredited school.
Yvonne started Teacher Training approximately 17 years ago, working freelance for publishing companies and additionally as a Professional Jolly Phonics Trainer, having used the method since 1998. She has travelled extensively internationally providing training events, curriculum guidance and resource development to schools and individuals covering all areas of E.S.L, literacy development (synthetic phonics and grammar), Social and Emotional Development (S.E.L) and curriculum consultancy.
Yvonne is also a content writer, curriculum developer and the author of the Macmillan Early Years Path (M.E.L.P), a runner up for the British Council ‘ELTons’ award and she contributes extensively to Early Years and Primary editorials and develop school curriculae.
Yvonne continues to work actively with schools, teaching groups teachers and training online during the Pandemic
