Sara Wernham

Sara Wernham is a British teacher and the co-author of Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar resources and materials. For over 20 years, Sara and Sue Lloyd have created and continue to develop the progressive Jolly Phonics synthetic phonics program to support English language, literacy and grammar materials to align with the British Curriculum.
Jolly Phonics is a globally used resource having been adapted in may schools and educational facilities. The program continues to support children’s acquisition, using the ‘Five Core Skills’ to learn letter sounds, their formation in English, reading and writing skills and pronounciation
